If the RaceViewer freezes, and you are not able to
access it, it is likely that your computer has memory limitations
or resource conflicts. |
| |
|
To prevent this happening in future, please ensure
that when you launch the Enhanced RaceViewer, try and limit
the number of other applications are running on your computer. |
| |
|
If you happen to experience freezing on the Enhanced
RaceViewer, it could be as a result of one or more of the following
issues:
- Use of certain versions of IBM Java.
- Resizing the Viewer window may cause problems on certain machines.
- Leaving the Viewer idle for lengthy periods of time.
- Less than 128mb of RAM installed
In the event of your machine freezing, we recommend the following:
- Obtain the latest drivers for your graphics card.
- Turn hardware acceleration off ( or to a minimun ) under Control
Panel / Display / Advanced Settings.
- Closing an existing viewer when viewing a new race from the webpage.
- Closing the existing viewer.
General recommendations to improve Race Viewer speed:
- Reduce the size of the Race Viewer window.
- Turn off Antialiasing on graphics card settings or set to a minimum.
- Turn off Linear Texture Filtering and/or Anisotropic Filtering
on Graphic Cards settings.
- Try different color settings ( 16bit maybe slower than 32bit
